HVAC Technician
This position will be a responsible individual who shall report directly to the FSP Project Manager if applicable. He/she will have some managerial abilities to maintain all work order records, vehicle maintenance histories and equipment information within their assigned region or account. His/her duties shall include responding to scheduled PM Service agreements, service calls on equipment and emergency response coverage. He/she shall have a working knowledge of HVAC, Central air distribution systems, Residential HVAC equipment and a variety of HVAC building environmental controls. This position may have other personnel assigned to them to perform a variety of general and HVAC functions. He/she will be expected to respond to emergency situations and a variety of HVAC renovation type activities as directed by the service agreement.
Responsibilities:
Shall be required to ascertain that established maintenance and repairs are followed out consistent with manufacturer’s specifications and standards while performing services.
Must be able to perform maintenance and repairs as necessary for the proper operation of a variety of HVAC commercial roof top units, residential heating and A/C systems and have a working knowledge of digital control systems. Should be capable of troubleshooting a variety of HVAC controls, safeties and limiting switches that control both residential and commercial HVAC systems. Will be required to have appropriate licenses for the operation of heating, refrigeration and environmental control packages and refrigerants where applicable.
Shall be expected to make recommendations to designated client representative related to improving operation criteria, maintenance performance, equipment utilization and scheduling requirements.
Wears appropriate safety equipment and follows established safety practices and procedures.
May be required to work day, evening or night shifts, overtime, weekends and holidays. Hours to be work are determined by pm service agreements, service call work load and emergency response job requirements. Back to Employment Opportunities APPLY ONLINE
